um....

I don't think these are peas.

But they are for sure, right in the middle of all the pea plants.

Now it looks like someone lives here...

I don't think I had taken any pictures of the front of the house, but I can assure you that the area in front of the porch was pretty sad looking.  Ami bought forsythia yesterday.  Its so bright and cheery-can't believe what a difference it makes. That's my little Jack man hamming it up for the camera.

PROGRESS!

Its sunny out and it has been for 4 days straight.  Its amazing what sun does to my disposition.  Anywhooo...let me bring you up to speed.
The other gourds have decided to make an appearance.  This was the last thing I was waiting for to sprout.  I am a successful indoor seed starter.  Hooray!

Now...I moved on to transplanting all the viable plants into their very own containers..take a gander.

Look how pretty my porch looks with all the containers...I also bought 2 more rosemary plants yesterday AND Avery brought me an Easter lily.
Oh wait.  You can't see the Easter lily.  Or the rosemary plants...take my word for it.  They are there.

Bright and early today we headed out for the first "hunt in the hood" Easter egg hunt....here are the monkeys in full race mode:

Then I started in on more yard cleanup...check out this progress. If it wasn't all nearly dead, that would be grass covered land.  After clean up, it was lunchtime...first picnic of the year.  It was modest because we don't have a table and chairs in back...
Then we planted the raspberries and blackberries:

and then roses...
And ...I noticed something in the bed we planted peas and brussel sprouts in.  Are these peas?

If so, then we have two sets of peas sprouted.  PROGRESS.

And last but certainly not least, Ami and I have decided what we are going to do in the corner of the yard when Uncle A moves his stuff...we call it the sunburst plan...look...
ISN'T IT AWESOME?  The plan is to build it out all the way to either side to the fence and fill it in with stone or maybe smaller angled pieces of wood.  I love the idea of the used wood in with the pretty live flowers.  :)

Stay tuned.
